I do not write because I have reached the goal.
I write because Jesus Christ continues to transform my life every day.
I am simply a believer who deeply loves the Word of God and desires to encourage others to know Christ more, live for Him, and remain steadfast until the end.
I never studied at a Bible institute. Everything I share comes from a desire to search the Scriptures with reverence, learn from them, and allow the Holy Spirit to continue shaping my heart. If any teaching presented here can strengthen your faith, all glory belongs solely to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I Have Overcome was born with a very simple purpose: always point toward Christ.
We live in a time when opinions, voices, and platforms abound. However, I firmly believe that the world needs fewer protagonists and more people who point toward the cross.
That is why my desire has never been to build a name for myself, but to exalt the Name that is above every name.
Every article, reflection, Bible study, and image published on this site has one goal: that someone may know Jesus Christ better, love His Word more, and be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I am still a pilgrim.
I am still learning.
I still make mistakes.
I still need God's grace every day.
But I can also say with full conviction that Christ continues to be faithful, and His Word never ceases to transform the lives of those who receive it with a willing heart.
If you ever find something of value on these pages, do not look to the writer.

My name is Gilbert.
For several years, the Lord has placed a deep love for His Word in my heart. I do not write as someone who has already reached the goal, but as a disciple who continues learning, being corrected, and transformed by Jesus Christ.
I never studied at a seminary or Bible institute. Much of what I share comes from long hours of prayer, reading the Scriptures, personal study, and a sincere desire to better understand God's will for my own life.
In addition to my passion for the Bible, I enjoy aviation, technology, and scale modeling. Over the years, I have discovered that God can also use these experiences to teach me spiritual truths and show me new illustrations of His grace and His Kingdom.
My greatest desire is that I Have Overcome I may never be known by the one holding the pen, but by the One who holds my life.
