John 16:33 Jesus said: These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble; but take heart, I have overcome the world.
This year, 2025, is a year of many changes for this country. For some, the changes are very negative, and for others, the changes are positive. But this June, this country and the entire world are going through a major crisis.
We hear of wars and rumors of wars, and many, very many, are afraid—afraid of uncertainty, afraid of what may happen. For those who are believers, faithful believers, these wars are not a surprise, since Jesus Christ himself spoke about them.
In Matthew 24:6, Jesus said: And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Social and civil divisions are also taking place, and we see a deeply divided country. A majority blames a single person, but in reality the blame should fall on the heart of each one of us. I say each one of us because we do not want to see how far we have moved away from God, from what is written in his Word; we have moved away from Jesus, from his teachings, from his mercy, and from his salvation.
We want to fight against one another over politics, over personal beliefs, without realizing that within all this indifference, within all this social conflict, within all of this, there is a figure acting among everyone, and he is none other than the prince of this world, Satan. He should be blamed for everything. He is the instigator, and he is the one who has a sinister plan to bring down the country, the great nation of the United States of America.
Now, after that Jesus says in verse 7: For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. We have the war between Ukraine and Russia; we now have Israel’s war against Iran, and from there other Arab nations may possibly go out to fight. There is also Pakistan against India, which, if it were not for President Trump’s intervention, they would still be at war; but we know that this truce will last only a short time. We have China on the verge of invading Taiwan, not to mention the pressure China has been putting on the Philippines, which, if it were not for the presence of the United States in the South Pacific Sea, China would have already declared itself owner and master of the area.
Then the same verse 7 says: and there will be plagues, famines, and earthquakes in various places. So in what remains of this year 2025 and in 2026, we will see and even be part of this prophecy of the Lord. Our eyes will witness the fulfillment of the word of God. And even so, knowing that much of what we see is the prophetic word of Jesus Christ, spoken more than 2,000 years ago, we still see so much indifference, so many divisions. But all of this is because Satan, the prince of this world, is in control of the situation, and he is the one who makes sure that people continue to follow him, thus fulfilling what Jesus said; and He said: and all these things will be the beginning of sorrows.
Lastly, I want to make the following clear in this thought of mine: in verse 10 Jesus said: Then many will stumble, and they will betray one another, and they will hate one another. And that is precisely what happened yesterday and what has been happening throughout this entire month. So none of this surprises me. I give thanks to my Christ and to the Holy Spirit, who reveals His word to me, and in the midst of all that is happening around the world and in this country, I FEEL PEACE!!
Finally, Jesus said in verse 13: But the one who perseveres (in his word) to the end, THIS ONE WILL BE SAVED.
Seek Christ while there is still time. Yes, there will be an end, an end to all of this, and it is not pretty at all, it is not good at all, but if we draw near to God, to His Son Jesus, and to His Holy Spirit… we will have peace and a beautiful and eternal ending.
